The First Convocation of Usha Martin University Covered by Top Media Houses of Country.


First convocation of Usha Martin University (top University in Ranchi), was held on 4 May 2023 at the University premises. In this convocation, degrees were awarded to 588 students. The Honourable Governor of Jharkhand, Mr. C.P. Radhakrishnan graced the convocation ceremony as the Chief Guest and presented Gold Medals to meritorious students. Padma Shri, Professor Anand Kumar also added special charm in the convocation ceremony. The Chairman of Usha Martin University, Mr. Hemant Goyal welcomed eminent dignitaries with warm gesture.

Mr. C.P. Radhakrishnan, The Honourable Governor of Jharkhand; Padma Shri, Professor Anand Kumar; and the Vice Chancellor of University, Professor Madhulika Kaushik delivered the convocation address wherein they informed the gathering about different courses, industry-academia collaboration, and research and development work.

They advised students to adhere to Truth, to always follow the righteous path and to enlarge his knowledge through continuous self-education. Do not neglect the welfare of your family and those around you. They further added, be a person of Integrity, develop the habit to listen and think before you speak care for the body, constantly update your knowledge, inculcate the savings habit, constantly strive to excel and strive to reach higher by means that are fair and incorruptible, have family values and last but not the least, make it a habit to help others in need. At the end,Vice Chancellor of University, Professor Madhulika Kaushik expressed vote of thanks to one and all. This UMU convocation was covered by top media houses of the country including Sharpbharat, Live Hindustan, Prabhat Khabar and Hindustan Times.
